This is a sample of converting two Blu-ray movies and one DVD located in the same folder
Start->All Programs->RipMKV->Batch Process Movies
There are four required inputs, after which, the conversion can run automatically.
The first input requires you to specify the source folder.
This is the folder where your ripped media resides. If you use DVDFAB,
it will be c:\FullDisc. You may name this folder whatever
you like so long as it contains all of the media you want to process.
The second input is where you want the converted files
stored. A new folder will be created for each disk that was converted.
All working files and result files are located in this folder.
The third input is for bluray conversions - do you want
compressed or uncompressed audio. Compressed audio will convert the
DTS-MA or TRUEHD track to a 5.1 channel AC3 file at a significant
cost savings in terms of size, with a small loss in audio fidelity.
Uncompressed audio will pass-thru the DTS-MA or TRUEHD track (1.0 to
7.1 channels) at the cost of a larger file size, but then
you get the lossless audio of a bluray movie. This option is not
applicable for DVDs, as the "best" audio track is automatically
selected (DTS followed by AC3).
The final input required, is to specify whether DVD's
should be cropped or uncropped. The default is uncropped which will
maintain the black borders that might be on the top and bottom or sides
of the movie. If you choose cropped, those borders will be removed. I
typically choose uncropped to maintain the movie as close to possible
for how it is on the DVD.
The next input is the start of the optional inputs - all
optional inputs timeout in 10s, although you may adjust the timeout in
the batch files if you desire. The 'set continue step' allows
you to continue a conversion at a specifed point. By looking in the
destination folder, you will find a folder called 'batchrun' and inside
that folder is 'batchrun.dirlist.txt'. 'batchrun.dirlist.txt'
contains a numbered sequence of movies, you can enter one of those
values to have it continue from that point.
If you have a number of bluray's, dvd's or some
combination of bluray and dvd in a folder and want to batch process the
folder, you would see the following:
